.NET Development
Have an extensive knowledge in all .NET Languages but particularly C#, VB.Net & ASP.Net. Also have plenty of experience in building Windows Mobile applications using the Windows Mobile SDK and a database engine such as SQLite.
Web Development
Have constructed a number of web applications using a combination of PHP, MySQL, HTML & CSS. And have also developed some websites using WordPress, as well as designed and developed some websites from the ground-up.
Hardware Installation
Am proficient in both laptop and desktop hardware installations, and have an in-depth knowledge of computer hardware – and feel perfectly at ease installing everything from graphic cards to sound cards to hard disk drives to memory modules.
Software Installation
It is often the case that a standard software installation comes with pesky pre-requisites – everything from the operating system you”re using to the version of .NET Framework currently installed. Simple troubleshooting can resolve this though.
Computer Maintenance
Once your computer is online, you’re liable to all sorts of computer nasties including viruses, adware & spyware. Don”t worry too much – it’s nothing a routine clean-up of the system and an up-to-date anti-virus / firewall can”t resolve.
Networking
The whole area of networking can be very complex – but it doesn’t need to be. If you spend a little time to construct some well thought-out network diagrams and invest in the right equipment, it can make it quite painless!
